2009 will be my second year as a participating photographer with The Missouri Heart Gallery Project. Everyone deserves to have family who love them. If you have an open space in your home and heart please take a look at these wonderful young men and women looking to fill that space. Here is a description from their site: The Heart Gallery was founded by the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department in 2001 as a unique way to help children in foster care who are waiting for adoptive families step from the shadows into the light. Stirring portraits, which reveal the children's amazing spirits and individuality, have helped many find permanent, loving homes. To learn more please click the link to the left. |

This is a wonderful group that I am really glad to be a part of. A group of photographers volunteering their time and products to help deployed military personell and their families stay close. A quote from the site: The last thing on your mind when your wife or husband arrives home after a 4 to 18 month tour, is capturing all this love– on film. Most people are so overwhelmed with emotions they forget to simply point and shoot the camera they are grasping of their child’s first hug, or that single tear of relief from a mother being able to hold her twenty year old son again. With the help of Operation: Love ReUnited and local photographers near your base, you can. Click the link to the left to find out more! If you are local to the KC area you may contact me directly. |
